We are located close to public transport, with parking available nearby for those who prefer to drive.

Public Transport

Tram route 57 tram provides public transport from Flinders Street Station in the city to Cordite Avenue, West Maribyrnong, on the border of Maidstone, while tram route 82 tram provides public transport from Moonee Ponds (Ascot Vale Road / Puckle Street) to Footscray (Leeds Street / Irving Street) passing through Maidstone for a segment of its journey. It is one of very few Melbourne tram routes which do not travel through the Melbourne CBD.

West Footscray and Tottenham train stations are the closest to Maidstone but many residents catch the bus to Footscray station (where trains are more frequent).

A number of different bus routes pass through Maidstone.

The Maribyrnong River Trail connects cyclists to the Footscray Road off-road path and into Docklands and the Melbourne CBD.

Bus Transport Routes:

410 – Sunshine Station – Footscray via Ballarat Road. 410 route bus towards Footscray pass near the Clinic Premises. Get off at stop Churchill Ave/Ballarat Rd (Maidstone) and continue along ballarat road till 191 ballarat road destination. 410 route bus towards sunshine from Footscray pass through the same Churchill Ave/Ballarat Rd(Maidstone) stop. Get off at this stop to reach Maidstone Family Clinic at 191 ballarat road.

408 – St Albans Station – Highpoint SC via Sunshine Station. 408 route bus towards Highpoint SC.Get off at stop Ballarat Rd/Churchill Ave (Maidstone) and Continue along Churchill Ave 80m and Turn left at Ballarat Rd to reach the Maidstone Family Clinic at 191 ballarat road. 408 bus route towards St albans station pass near the clinic premises as well. Get off at stop Rooney St/Churchill Ave (Maidstone). Continue along Churchill Ave 80m and Turn left at Ballarat Rd to reach the Maidstone Family Clinic at 191 ballarat road.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation.
Bulk Billed to all Medicare and DVA card holders.
No Gap Fee – OSHC & OVHC

Standard Consultation: $39.10 (less than 20 minutes)
Long Consultation: $75.75 (20 minutes +)

Appointments

Please phone the practice on 03 9318 1881 for an appointment. Emergencies will always be given priority.
Walk-in appointments will be allocated the first available consultation, and will usually be required to wait.

Communication / Telephone policy

Staff will take your details, and will only interrupt a consultation if the problem is urgent. Patients who require Translating & Interpreting Service (TIS) or communication assistance are asked to let the reception staff know when making the appointment.

Test results

If you have been referred for a test, please ensure you contact us for the result within two to three days. Results will not be provided over the telephone.
